We know, we know, it’s been awhile. Sorry for the wait, but here’s an update.

Jada’s birthday came early! Bill and I each wanted a different toy for her for her birthday. Yesterday, we got her a swing and slide that can be indoors or out. Right now it is in the living room. It is just her size!

He wanted to buy her a Bounce ‘Round. So, he bought it today. He also bought some balls to put inside. She was scared of it at first, but after he got in with her, she was fine.

We are not planning on having a birthday party for her here. I thought we would probably have cake at his mom’s when we are there Easter weekend. We might do the same at my mom’s the weekend before.

Hmmm…isn’t that Heather’s birthday??

Well, Kim was right! We are having a girl. The sonogram showed that the baby is growing well. All of her parts are working and in the right places. One of the pictures is of her yawning!

I am doing well too. I have gained a total of 5 lbs this time around (of course I still had 20 left from Jada…LOL). The baby is currently 13 oz.

As soon as we decide on a name we will post it!

Jada is sick again. This time she has ear infections in both ears and a sinus infection. Hopefully she will be well for a while once warmer weather is here to stay.

She has enjoyed being outside. We have had some days in the upper 60s and lower 70s. I took the girls for a walk last week. Since then, Jada gets her jacket and holds her arms up at the door. She is ready to explore. Billy took her outside tonight. He said that the first time she fell, she put her hands to the ground to push herself back up…the ground felt strange…she looked at her hands and then at Billy as if to say “What is wrong with this floor?”

It is hard to believe she will be 1 in three weeks. My baby is growing up so fast!!!

Jada went to the eye doctor last Tuesday. He said that her “goopy eye” looks good. If she has any more problems with it, then I will need to take her in. Otherwise, we are looking good.

He wants to see her in July to monitor her farsightedness. She has it in both eyes.

Jada went to the allergist on Wednesday. They did a scratch test on her back for milk, cats, dust mites, mold, eggs, and wheat. She came up negative for all of them.

I have started mixing her sippy cup with 1/2 formula and 1/2 whole milk. She is NOT impressed. She will drink it out of a bottle though.

David and Stacey are the proud parents of a handsome little boy. Patrick Dale Boien was born on 02-28-2003 at 1:54 PM. He weighed in at 7lbs 3oz and was 18 1/2 inches long.
