The weekend before Easter, we went to KY to visit with my family. We had a good time. Jada seemed quite intrigued by her cousin Dale. Every time he would make a noise, she would run over to him and push his swing. She also enjoyed the swingset at Grandma Nita’s house. She liked being pushed really high in the swing.

Grammy came and stayed with us last week. She and I managed to decorate my kitchen and get a start on Jada’s big girl room. We painted her room and put up a border. We also made curtains to match. I can’t wait to get the new carpet laid and stuff hung on the walls.

We took her home on Saturday and came home on Easter. Jada had a birthday party there too. She really enjoyed her cake!

Bill had planned on uploading pictures tonight, but he has had computer problems. Hopefully he will get those problems worked out and be able to upload tomorrow night!

Sorry…we still don’t have the pics up. We have been busy getting everything ready to go to KY. We decided that we are going to leave tomorrow when Billy gets off of work instead of leaving Friday morning. We are hoping that Jada will sleep most of the trip.

When we get back, we will have even more pics to upload.

Since we haven’t decided on a middle name for Bianca, feel free to email me with suggestions….just don’t get your feelings hurt if we don’t choose the one you like!

Bill had to help a friend after work and got home late. Therefore, the pictures of Jada from last night aren’t going to be uploaded tonight. Sorry!

However, we do have a name for the baby. Unless we find something that we like better (and I doubt that we will, since we have difficulty agreeing on anything),…her name will be Bianca. We haven’t come up with a middle name yet. I hope everyone likes it…if not…PLEASE don’t tell Billy!

Today was the big day. Our baby girl turned 1…can you believe it? It is hard to believe that she has grown from the tiny newborn that slept all of the time to the wild and crazy big girl that is now 1!

We celebrated at home with cupcakes and an off key “Happy Birthday” song. Jada was happy to get to eat all of the icing on her cupcake. I was happy when Billy put her into the tub!!!

We will continue to celebrate this weekend in Kentucky and Easter weekend in Marion. Jada is a very lucky little girl to get to share her birthday with so many people who love her!
