Jada is the proud owner of 4 teeth! I think more are on the way since she keeps chewing on her fingers. She has also been sleeping through the night. She woke up twice last night, but I just put her back in bed and let her cry. She only cried for a few minutes. Her vocabulary is booming. She can also follow two-step directions (when she wants to)!

Lana is moving her arm quite a bit now. I was holding her earlier tonight…she was asleep…she wiped her eye with her right hand. She is still turning it outward a lot, but I am guessing the doctor will give us some exercises to help her turn it the right way. She has outgrown 0-3 month clothes…she is just too long! She is also sleeping most of the night. The hardest part is getting her to stay asleep once we put her in her bed. She started smiling at around 6 weeks old…now she is 8 weeks old…she is starting to coo a little bit. Billy said that she giggled for him the other night.

I have been working on Lana’s scrapbook the last several nights. I am now caught up! But don’t look at my front room… it is a wreck with all of my scrapbooking stuff! I still need to work on Jada’s. I have to do July and August pictures yet.

I went to the dr for my 6 week check up. She said I am doing just fine. I only have 2 lbs to lose to get back to my pre-Lana weight.

The doctor said that if we decided to have another child that they would monitor the baby’s weight via regular sonograms. Then, we would decide to either induce 2 weeks early or schedule a c-section 1 week early. I think Bill and I are pretty sure that we want another child…I don’t know when though. Right now we are enjoying our precious little girls!

I finally got it. I’ve been waiting for this for months.

I’ve spent the last 2 or 3 days getting things straightened out. The setup and install of the E-Cube EG65 went flawlessly. So flawlessly in fact, it was almost scary.

So what’s taken 2 to 3 days then? Well, you know how it goes. I get a new box, Jackie gets my mine, and this time around I’m loaning hers to my brother in law Mike (admin of www.pittsburgfwb.org).

Yep, you read right, you can stop rubbing your eyes. We got back from the main event this weekend. See the proof below.

Or rather…non-sleeping Jada! Jada’s sleeping habits are getting worse. She now refuses to go to bed on her own. I have been letting her cry…checking on her periodically. Tonight is the first night that she fell asleep on her own…she only cried for 45 minutes. Last night she cried for 1 1/2 hours before I gave in and laid down with her (she was asleep within 2 minutes). After we get her to go to sleep again, we are going to have to work on her sleeping through the night.

Lana is doing better…she isn’t as fussy anymore. She still has some evenings where she is really fussy, but they are tapering off. She is moving her arm more, but still not bringing it to her chest. If you have been keeping up with the pictures, you have noticed that Lana looks a lot like Jada!!!
