Well…summer is here! I no longer have Grace…school let out last Wednesday. However, we have seen her several times since then. On her last day, Kathy and I took the girls to Chucky Cheese for lunch. They had a good time playing in the toddler area. Kathy has been watching Jada while I go to my doctor visits. I go to the doctor on Friday. I am now going ever other week. In July, I will go weekly. Less than 8 weeks to go!

We have been walking most evenings. It is starting to be in the 80s and humid, so we haven’t walked as much.

Jada loves being outside and playing in her sandbox. She goes nuts when we pass a park and she sees the slides!

We have also been cooking on the grill a lot. The grill was my Mother’s Day gift…and I love it!

Grammy came to visit this past weekend!!! She drove all by her self to Springfield! We are so proud of her! We also enjoyed her visit a lot. Now that we know she can get here, we will expect her to visit more often.

There isn’t too much going on right now…and that’s okay! It seems like we have been so busy lately. I think this is our last weekend with no plans until December.

Jada is standing without holding on almost all the time. She doesn’t want to be sitting at all. She wants to stand. She has figured out that she can squat to pick up toys…she doesn’t have to sit to get them! She has tried squatting without holding on to anything, but she isn’t real successful yet.

She is such a precious little thing….and so darn cute! Not that I am biased or anything!

Soon it will be time for Billy’s basketball league to start. Last season most of the games were for 7 or 8 PM. I hope they stay that time. The previous season, they had been for 9PM…a little late for Miss Jada.

Jada is going to be a bumble bee for Halloween! I am pretty excited. I am going to take Jada and Grace to Bill’s office to show them off in their costumes….Grace is going to be a pumpkin. I will be sure to post pictures…I am sure they will be quite cute!

Today we went to lunch with my friend Kathy and her daughter Grace. We went to Olive Garden, and then we went shopping! Jada got a new toy and a Dr. Seuss book. I got 2 pair of jeans (which I will probably return)…nothing seems to fit right anymore!

Grace is 2 months older than Jada, and the two are the same size! Grace is rolling all over the place, and Jada pretty much stays in one place…it won’t be long though and Jada will be all over too. I will be watching Grace when Kathy goes back to work. I think the girls will have lots of fun together.
