First of all….still no pictures.

This holiday season was VERY busy for us this year. We had a whirlwind trip to Marion and back. Then, my family was here until the 28th. It was wonderful getting to visit with everyone.

Jada got entirely too many toys! We are going to have to buy a bigger house to accomodate all of her stuff.

On the 27th (my 30th birthday), I had a surprise visit from some of my family (on the Boien side). My cousin Jennifer, who has been stationed in Germany since May, was home on unexpected leave. It was a shock to see her! Stacey, my sister-in-law, made me wear a tiara that said 30 on it. She also bought me a cake that said “One foot in the ground” on it….you gotta love in-laws! It was a great birthday, spent with family…exactly what I wanted.

Now that everyone is gone, I have gotten the house back in order and Christmas stuff put away until next year. I am ready to sit down with a good romance novel and a glass of wine.

Pictures are coming soon….Billy was showing me how to get them from my camera to the computer…next step is touch ups and uploading.

HAPPY 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom was able to come and visit over the long weekend. She was very excited to see Jada. She couldn’t believe how much she’d grown…and how mobile she is!

We went shopping on Saturday. Mom bought Jada several cute outfits. I don’t know what she is going to do after David’s little one is here!

We went to see my cousin Jennifer on Sunday before she left for the Army on Tuesday.

Then Mom had to head out early on Monday. She had planned a leisurely morning with us before going home, but Murphy’s Law interceded. Her refrigerator died and she had to get home and get a new one!

My Grandma Boien, Aunt DeDe, and cousing Jennifer came to visit this afternoon. They were amazed at all the things Jada can do. They really liked her growling!

Grandma brought her photo albums that had pictures of me as a little one. I could definitely see Jada in some of them.

It was a nice visit. I wish I could see them more often.

Jennifer is going to be moving away from the area, so I won’t see her for a long time.

Since we now have the new van, we decided to take a trip to Marion to visit Bill’s family. The van rode very nicely, and we enjoyed our visit. While we were at Grammy and Poppy’s house, we took a few pictures of Jada while there.

On the way back we stopped by Great Grandma Boien’s house. We visited with Great Grandma, Aunt DeDe, Uncle Rich, Aunt Pat, and Jennifer. It was a nice impromptu visit.
